Hosting should be invisible.
We started EasyEmDash because we loved Cloudflare's EmDash, but hated the friction of setting it up. We believe that great software should be accessible to everyone, not just infrastructure engineers.
When EmDash was released, it promised a modern, open-source alternative to WordPress. It delivered on the code, but the deployment story was left up to you. For a developer, wiring up a database, configuring a CDN, and setting up CI/CD is a fun weekend project. For a writer, a small business owner, or a designer—it's a wall.
We built EasyEmDash to tear down that wall.
Our philosophy is simple: you should focus on your content and your design. The servers, the databases, the SSL certificates, the global CDN—that's our job. We've opinionated the infrastructure so you don't have to make choices about things you shouldn't have to care about.
Our Guiding Principles
- 01Simplicity over configuration. If we can make a sensible default, we do. We don't expose toggles unless absolutely necessary.
- 02Speed is a feature. From the dashboard UI to the TTFB of your live site, everything must be fast.
- 03Transparent pricing. No sneaky bandwidth overages or hidden fees. What you see is what you pay.
We're a small, independent team funded by our customers, not venture capital. This means we answer only to you. We build features that make your life easier, not features that look good on a pitch deck.
If you're ready to experience hosting that simply gets out of your way, we'd love to have you.
